教室のあゆみ

小金井市生活日本語教室(こがねいし せいかつ にほんご きょうしつ)は、1997年(ねん)6月(がつ)、市内在住外国人(しない ざいじゅう がいこくじん)の日常会話支援(にちじょう かいわ しえん)と日本(にほん)の伝統文化(でんとうぶんか)の紹介(しょうかい)を目的(もくてき)にボランティアスタッフにより開設(かいせつ)されました。

開設(かいせつ)当初(とうしょ)の講座回数(こうざかいすう)は年間(ねんかん)10回(かい)でしたが、1999年(ねん)からは年末年始(ねんしねんまつ)、祝日(しゅくじつ)などを除(のぞ)く毎週土曜日(まいしゅう どようび)に授業(じゅぎょう)を行(おこな)うようになり、2000年(ねん)以降(いこう)は日本文化体験(にほんぶんかたいけん)、発表会(はっぴょうかい)、新年会(しんねんかい)、バス旅行(りょこう)などの行事(ぎょうじ)も企画(きかく)・実施(じっし)しています。

開設以来(かいせついらい)、2023年(ねん)7月(がつ)現在(げんざい)で、76か国(こく)、1666人(にん)の学習者(がくしゅうしゃ)が学(まな)んでいます。

現在(げんざい)ボランテイアスタッフ35名(めい)、学習者(がくしゅうしゃ)50名(めい)が在籍(ざいせき)しています。

History of the Class

The Koganei-shi Seikatsu Nihongo Kyoshitsu was established in June 1997 by volunteer staff with the purpose of supporting daily conversation and introducing traditional Japanese culture to foreign residents of Koganei-city.
At the time of its establishment, classes were held 10 times a year, but since 1999, classes have been held every Saturday except during the year-end and New Year holidays. Since 2000, we have also planned and held events such as Japanese cultural experiences, recitals, New Year's parties, and bus trips.
As of July 2023, since its establishment, 1,666 students from 76 countries have studied at the center.
Currently, there are 35 volunteer staff and 50 students.
